![]() ![]() The only thing I can think of is if I need to cancel a spell that you can’t normally cancel by movement or other obvious means. Is there another way to do it, or another use for /stopcasting that I am not seeing? ![]() Unless I’m missing something, is this correct? So, what’s the point? I either have to keep hitting the key, or move first to stop the cast, then do my instant, completely negating the need for /stopcasting. There should be no CD from completing the 1.8 second cast, because I canceled it, but still, it doesn’t do my instant spell. Now, if I bind that to a key, and cast something, like Frost Bolt, which is a 1.8 second cast, then 1/2 way through the cast, hit my new Ice Barrier macro key, it stops the FB cast, but doesn’t do the Ice Barrier, unless I keep tapping the key. cast Ice Barrier (or Frost Nova, or any other instant spell…) I was just trying on my mage, for example Not without multi-pressing the macro key, so defeating the purpose. No difference so im curious about what these settings really do.I was just trying to use /stopcasting, and it seems like it doesn’t work on anything I have tried. My 2cents.blue post said that anything <100 is basically the same like 100. Tat is the visible ping when you hover over the computer icon on the lower screen. My latency to my target server, is 26-28ms. MaxSpellStartRecoveryoffset - the actual parameter in ms on how far off the queuing starts. I do wonder why they removed the other 2, unless they actually improved on it, but hearing "input lag", and "delay" from you guys, tells enough that it's still probably worthless. It's pretty bad in most cases though, especially out in the world if the setting is relatively high. While the entire macro will run every time, actions which trigger the Global Cooldown will stop later GCD actions from functionin. They allow you to combine multiple actions onto a single button. A middle ground is possible for people who don't use certain *cough* programs to enhance their play but outside of that, heh, meh, whatever. Intro - Macro Basics Macros are a very useful tool within the World of Warcraft client. casts buffs/de-buffs on a target specified in the addon like GBoK on yourself every 30 mins or so, or regrowth on your tank every. ![]() make each individual class have its own load button to decrease the cashe size, or make it auto load the players class when character is accessed. it's a controversial topic and the best solution is often to not use said feature for people who actually want any sort of reactionary play. ideas for the addon: can change the of max spells to be auto-cast. No dips of +50ms(which is noticable), again, don't know why, better servers? No shitty second-guessing services running or something I guess, I mean it's hard to find a reason to fly-hack in a raid I suppose.īut yeah. Instanced content though, solid ~39-42 +- 5-10ms, stable. Idk what they are doing, but likely some anti-cheat service running on the background or some shit on their servers, QoS doing it's fair share of holding packet delivery. good stuff here but Im especially interested in the press and hold casting and how it compares to spell queuing. preferable because of that exact reason, you press once and forget and don't even care about it but.Īny reactionary play is quite terrible though, and it's also why wpvp is utter shite for another reason, IMO. ![]() The worst kind of lag, the random varying kind. You will get a spell running at (RTT IIRC)130ms, next at 80ms, another 60ms, then 48, 49, 152, etc. World latency(the non-instanced content) is so bad, and has been bad for over 4 years at least now as far as I can remember. Which instead of the spell casting asap, it casts when you press the macro AFTER the gcd / previous spell finishes resolving. I personally wouldn't reccomend other than 0 to anyone serious about the game. Would love it if it did, but alas probably not, just with a detrimental parameter set at 0, effectively negating it, but still eating cpu cycles. Now I don't know if it actually disables the queueing function itself at 0 though. A lot of higher-level players use AHK for spamming abilities. Thanks to you, Diablo IV is now the fastest selling Blizzard game of all time We want to take the opportunity to express our gratitude directly during our. ![]()
